With a new baby comes a lot of new purchases. Since the last time we had a baby was almost 6 years ago there are so many new baby items that have come out that I’m SO excited to try! So let’s do a round up of the new things that I have already bought, am planning to buy, have been gifted, and have registered for.
Jackie’s Bathroom
I decided to take Jackie’s builder basic bathroom and step it up a notch. It needed to be more functional. We needed more space for hanging stuff that was not on the back of the door and I wanted it to reflect her style. It’s amazing what a change in hardware, some paint, and a little bit of shiplap can do to transform a space!

I used to not be one to decorate for Valentines Day. However, having a kid that loves all things pink and glittery has really changed things for me! I love seeing how happy Jackie gets with Valentines Day decor and have therefore incorporated it as much as possible in our home including her room and play kitchen set. Creating a Cozy Landing Space
When I first started redoing our primary bedroom, we moved my husband's desk over to the corner of the room. That took away the space that we were using previously for our full length mirror. I knew I needed to find a new space for it because it was just awkwardly sitting behind the bedroom door and that just wasn’t going to work. Hanging it on the back of the door wasn't an option either because there was too much light coming in from behind it. So, I spent some time wandering around our house and I decided that the landing at the top of our first set of stairs was going to be the best option since there was a good amount of space to work with. I liked that there was nothing on the wall, the lighting was good and there was plenty of space for me to make this a cozy little nook, so that's what I decided to do. So I got to work.

Easy DIY Drawer Organizers
My mom asked me to put some drawer organizers in the drawers in her kitchen. She was getting frustrated with the clutter in two of her drawers specifically so I had her tape out the layout that she wanted and I used some scrap wood that we had and made it happen. After I finished with hers I liked it so much that I did the same thing to a few drawers in my house. The whole process was pretty simple, let me show you what I did.
