How to Make Valentine’s Day Play Cookies

I used to not be one to decorate for Valentine’s Day. However, having a kid who loves all things pink and glittery has really changed things for me! I love seeing how happy Jackie gets with Valentine’s Day décor and have therefore incorporated it as much as possible in our home including her room and play kitchen set. I have a quick and easy Valentine's Day craft to do with your little one to add some Valentines Day fun to any playroom.

DIY Valentine's Day Play Cookies | Creating The “Cookies”

First things first - gather your supplies. I was able to find everything I needed in a pack as well as the wood hearts from Michael’s. I painted the hearts and while the paint was still wet, I added sequins and glitter to all of them.

On a few of them, I just used the glitter paint and then added some details on top of it with the puffy paint. On the rest I use paint plus the sequins and the glitter. I made sure to let them dry overnight and then they are ready to play with. These are a super easy craft you can include your kids in. We loved using these for a special Valentine’s Day tea party and leave them at as decorations.
