Simplifying Mornings with a Clothing Choice Board
Jackie was having a hard time getting dressed in the morning. It seemed to be very overwhelming and causing a lot of anxiety for her which made our mornings really hard. So we talked to her therapy team and we came up with this idea of a clothing choice board.

Upgrading Your Builder Grade Mirror
When I redid our loft bathroom, I really liked how big the mirror was, especially in comparison to the rest of the space because this is a really massive bathroom. However, after I redid everything else, I realized the mirror just looked bare and contrasted with the rest of the space. I decided to build a custom frame for it!

In order to get ready for baby number two to come, we needed to rearrange and redo our first floor to accommodate our TV and our play area. I knew that I wanted to add extra storage, and from there it just snowballed into a whole first floor makeover. So, follow along to see what I did!

Baby Items I Bought for Baby #2
With a new baby comes a lot of new purchases. Since the last time we had a baby was almost 6 years ago there are so many new baby items that have come out that I’m SO excited to try! So let’s do a round up of the new things that I have already bought, am planning to buy, have been gifted, and have registered for.

Jackie’s Bathroom
I decided to take Jackie’s builder basic bathroom and step it up a notch. It needed to be more functional. We needed more space for hanging stuff that was not on the back of the door and I wanted it to reflect her style. It’s amazing what a change in hardware, some paint, and a little bit of shiplap can do to transform a space!

As you know I’m having baby number two in March! I have some tried and true things that I will be reusing because they were just too good to get rid of after Jackie grew out of them. So let’s round up my favorite baby items that I can’t live without.

Every time I post about my front door tile mat from Letterfolk it seems to get more and more love! So when Letterfolk did a special 50% off discount on the black tile mat when they were on The View. I grabbed one to replace my white one. So today I have a few Valentine’s Day tile mat ideas that I want to share with you that you can add to your Valentine’s Day decor.

How to Make Valentine’s Day Play Cookies
I used to not be one to decorate for Valentines Day. However, having a kid that loves all things pink and glittery has really changed things for me! I love seeing how happy Jackie gets with Valentines Day decor and have therefore incorporated it as much as possible in our home including her room and play kitchen set. I have a quick and easy Valentine's Day craft to do with your little one to add some Valentines Day fun to any playroom.

Creating a Cozy Landing Space
When I first started redoing our primary bedroom, we moved my husband's desk over to the corner of the room. That took away the space that we were using previously for our full length mirror. I knew I needed to find a new space for it because it was just awkwardly sitting behind the bedroom door and that just wasn’t going to work. Hanging it on the back of the door wasn't an option either because there was too much light coming in from behind it. So, I spent some time wandering around our house and I decided that the landing at the top of our first set of stairs was going to be the best option since there was a good amount of space to work with. I liked that there was nothing on the wall, the lighting was good and there was plenty of space for me to make this a cozy little nook, so that's what I decided to do. So I got to work.
