My mom had two of these in her house when she moved in and she asked me to remove both of them. When I removed one I discovered that it was barely secured to the wall! It came off super easily, which is terrifying, but in doing so I realized that I could take one of these off in about a day and it's not a big deal. Let me show you how I did it.

Last year I built two workbenches using drawers from an old office and cabinets that my grandmother had gifted to me before she passed away. However because it was so long it was really difficult to store anything. It only had one long wire shelf stretching to the end so Items got piled on top of each other, space was underutilized and it ended up being an unorganized mess. When we bought our house, it was listed as a three bedroom, four bathroom home. Well, the third bedroom it turned out was actually just the upstairs loft area. However, when you came up the stairs there was no door. We asked the builders if they could add a door, but they were adamantly against it because that was "not how they designed the house". I'm not sure how you can consider a space a bedroom if there is no door, but that's just me. So after living here for a year, we decided to add a door to the bottom of the stairs ourselves.
