Fall Tile Mat Designs

DIY

It's a change of the season, so it's time for some new tile mat ideas! I have some traditional fall designs, some fun fall designs and even a bonus back to school design. Lets get started!

Fall Tile Mat Ideas 2023 | Fall Leaves

First up, I did a fall leaves design. I used Gold, Holly Berry, Marigold, (which unfortunately they don't make anymore, but you could use Daffodil) and Cinnamon in this design. I used 39 Gold tiles for the letters and then 24 Holly Berry, 8 Cinnamon, and 24 Marigold/Daffodil for the leaves. I love that this is a really fall design and is nice and simple.

Fall Tile Mat Ideas 2023 | Blue Pumpkins

I’ve talked before about how I don’t like using the traditional orange and browns of fall decor so I did a few fun designs that are more my style. For the blue pumpkin design I used 19 Atlantic Blue tiles, 23 Glacial Blue, 23 Aqua Lagoon, 26 Rose Gold, 60 Tropical Teal and 34 Teal Glitter to get this design.

Fall Tile Mat Ideas 2023 | Pink Pumpkins

For the pink version, I used Cherry Blossom, Wild Plum, Raspberry Sorbet (which they don't make anymore, but you could use Cranberry instead), Gold, Sugar Plum, and Pink Glitter to get these cute pink pumpkins. You might remember that last year I spray painted a bunch of my fake pumpkins I used to decorate the front porch pink, so this tile mat design is going to go really well with that. I used 19 Cherry Blossom, 23 Wild Plum, 23 Raspberry Sorbet/Cranberry, 26 Gold, 60 Sugar Plum and 34 Pink Glitter tiles. I love how this design turned out and I think it’s going to be the design I'm using for the rest of the fall because it is so cute and matches my pumpkins.

Fall Tile Mat Ideas 2023 | Traditional Pumpkins

I decided to add a traditional pumpkin design too. For this I used 17 Daffodil, 23 Sunflower, 23 Candy Corn, 24 Acorn, 60 Pumpkin Spice and 34 Gold Glitter.

Fall Tile Mat Ideas 2023 | First Day of School

Lastly, I had to do a back to school design. I've seen a few different versions of this pencil design, but I've never seen it on the black tile mat. It took me a little bit of time to figure out exactly how I wanted to do this, and I didn't just want it to be the pencils, I wanted it to say something on it as well. You know how sometimes you have writing or like an engraving on a pencil? Well, that's what I was going for here. I used 60 Gold Glitter tiles for the tips of the pencils and the word “School”. Then I used 38 Pink Glitter, and 12 Teal Glitter for the rest of the writing. For the pencils I used 23 Mistletoe, 15 Sugar Plum, 18 Glacial Blue, 16 Cinnamon, 24 Marigold/Daffodil, 18 Tropical Teal, 19 Lilac, 34 Raspberry Sorbet/Cranberry, 24 Sandcastle, 48 Cherry Blossom and 8 Black. I absolutely love how this turned out.

These were so fun to make, I always love using creativity to come up with these. Stay tuned for more tile mat content featuring Halloween tile mat designs!
