Why We Bought Another Stroller
I did something I swore that I would never do. I bought a second stroller. If you know me at all you know that this a HUGE deal. We have had our UPPAbaby Vista stroller since 2016 when I bought it. The Black Friday before my daughter was born. I love this stroller with all of my heart. We use it constantly and both of our kids have loved it. I love that the rumble seat goes up to 50 pounds, It folds up really nicely and will stand up on its own and it's easy to take care of. UPPAbaby is also amazing when it comes to warranty and replacing parts or even finding new parts that need to be replaced that aren't under warranty. While this is an expensive stroller, you get the bassinet and the rumble seat with it and it has lasted us seven years, two kids and a lot of traveling.

How I am Staying Organized While Living in Corporate Housing
If you're new here, Hi I'm Emily! I have ADHD and in order to keep me and my family functioning, I have found ways of organizing and creating systems that I don't always use, but I can put stuff back into when I need to. Right now, my family is living in Buenos Aires, Argentina in corporate housing. I'm going to show you a few ways that we are staying organized in our corporate housing for the next six months.

Painting Our Organization Drawers
One of the first things I did when I first got to Buenos Aires was go to a local hardware store and buy a set of MDF drawers. Well, they were kind of plain and I really wanted to brighten them up a little bit. So my daughter and I got some paint and paint brushes, and decided to get creative!

Airplane Activity Kits
It was a long flight to Argentina so I made sure to make each of the kids airplane activity kits to keep them entertained. We put each kids toys in a travel cosmetic case and I want to show you what I put in each, because they were a hit and came in clutch for the flight.

How We Made Our Corporate Housing Feel More Like Home
We are officially in Buenos Aires, Argentina and are living in corporate housing. This is arranged through my husband's company. They work with a rental company here in Buenos Aires and it's a very lovely apartment. We have an amazing view, and the apartment comes with a couch, table and chairs, beds, tv and tv table, the basics that we need. Regardless of all that just still isn't home. I've done a few things that have made it feel more homey since we are going to be here for six months and figured that I would share them with you.

Sensory Room Makeover Plans
Even though I'm not home and won’t be able to do this until 2025, I'm going to share with you my ideas for my son's bedroom. His room is the third floor of our house. It leads onto a deck, which is enclosed so he can't get out and its perfectly safe. There's also an en suite bathroom and a closet, and it's just a really large space. This room has been multiple things over the years, but it's always had a guest bed in it. So I want to do something special for him and build a house bed like I did for my daughter.

Ball Run Using Magnetic Tiles
The main toy that we brought with us to Argentina was our magnetic tiles and the ball run set that a family member got for my kids for their birthdays. We also got a cool container that you can put all of the magnetic tiles in that unfolds into a play mat which is really nice for having a stable place to build a ball run like this. I wanted to show you how we built the ball run because both of the kids LOVE it!

Organize My Workshop With Me for 6 Months Away
If you don't already know, my family's going to Argentina for six months - myself, my husband, and our two kids. We have somebody staying in our house, but I can't leave my workshop in my parents garage for six months looking messy and disorganized. I'm going to get it all cleaned up, because that's the right thing to do. I also have a couple of things that I need to deal with, like this countertop on my workbench that is covered in epoxy from all of the epoxy pours I've been doing lately. It needs to come off and switched for a different board. I want things organized and put things back together so my parents can utilize their garage while I am gone.

Packing for Argentina
My family is going to Argentina for six months. We are leaving the beginning of June and we're coming back mid December and it's time to pack! There's a lot of stuff I can't pack yet because we're using it but once Jackie is out of school I will be able to go through her stuff with her and have her pick out favorite toys. I thought I would take you along for the ride while I packed to show you the suitcases that we have, the packing cubes that I'm using, the essential things that I'm using to pack.

It may surprise you, but, the first chunk of projects in my DIY journey I completed without a table saw. So I want to talk to you today about how you can do DIY projects without owning a table saw because it is possible!

How We are Prepping Our Daughter for 6 Months Out of the Country
My family is going to Argentina for six months. We are leaving in the beginning of June and coming back in the middle of December. We are going for my husband's job and we're pretty excited about it! The question I've been getting a lot, though, is how are we preparing our daughter for this big change and this trip? For context, our daughter is seven. She is autistic and change is hard for her. So I wanted to share a couple of things that we are doing to help her with those transitions.
