Airplane Activity Kits

It was a long flight to Argentina so I made sure to make each of the kids airplane activity kits. We put each kid’s toys in a travel cosmetic case to keep them entertained. I want to show you what I put in each, because they were a hit and came in clutch for the flight.

Airplane Activity Kits | 7 Year Old Girl Bag

First, I got paint by sticker books for her. I really like these because you can tear out the sticker page and use it alongside the page you're doing and are super fun to do. They fit very nicely inside the cosmetic bag I used for her.

I also got this sensory toy. You get these little noodles and can put them in different spots. They have different colors and it comes with this really nice bag that everything goes inside of to keep it all together.

The next thing is a dry erase board with dry erase crayons my mother-in-law gave to my daughter as a gift the last time she was here. The crayons come with an erasing cloth, and there's also a sharpener at the bottom of the back of the box so everything you need is conveniently inside of the box. The only problem is the original dry erase board my mother-in-law gave us does not fit inside of the cosmetic bag, so I just stuck it in my daughter's backpack.

We love this magnetic playtime set. I found this at a local boutique we are big fans of in Chattanooga. They have so many cute little characters and accessories for each one and everything is magnetic. There are two scenes to play on and, again, it fits really nicely into the cosmetic bag.

At the same local boutique, I also found this fun board game called The Sandbox. Everything for the board game is included in it. You don't need any additional instructions and it's magnetic so the pieces aren't going anywhere. I like that I don't have to worry about anything falling out.

Last, we got both kids drawing tablets. They erase with the touch of a button and I love that the pen connects to the tablet and has a tether to it, so it won't get lost. I personally don't like to put anything in the top or bottom sections of the cosmetic bags when I'm doing activity kits like this, because I feel like they don't zip up and are too bulky and take up so much room in a backpack.

Airplane Activity Kits | 15 Month Old Boy Bag

My son is much younger so his activity bag looks a little different. I have these squiggles a family member gave him for his birthday. They're nice and big and super easy to handle and are not going to get lost. I got a few small ones as well to add to the collection.

These were also a birthday gift for him and were really easy for putting on the tray table or on the window I also found this Winnie the Pooh book that's great for clipping onto a stroller. It crinkles and is so sweet.

Baby boy also loves poppets. He likes to chew and play with them. My mother-in-law also gave us this set of four spinning poppet fidget toys for a baby. They have a suction cup on the back, so they're perfect for a tray table or a window. They're amazing.

All of this stuff, again, fits really nicely into this bag. It folds up and I can stick it in his carry on bag or backpack, whatever we're using for him. I've linked everything for these below. Hopefully you can find something that works for your next flight.
