Painted Wood Stools

If you have kids, you know it’s necessary to have a stool in your bathroom. However, most of the time adding a bulky stool can totally throw off the aesthetic of your space. Let me show how I customized stools to add to our bathrooms.

First off, I primed each stool. I then painted them with coordinating colors or the exact same color as the bathroom they were going in. The first stool Jackie did for our powder bathroom on the main floor. I gave her coordinating colors and let her go wild. I love that it’s a little piece of her in the bathroom.

The stool in Jackie's bathroom is the pink that’s in her room and bathroom. The stool in the loft/nursery upstairs is the exact same color I painted the cabinets when I refinished them. I love having these stools coordinate so nicely with our bathrooms while also being functional.
