DIY Pumpkin Wreaths
DIY Pumpkin Wreaths | Fall Decor
If you have been here for a while, you’ll know that I don’t love orange in my fall decor. I’m always looking for options that are more in my color wheelhouse. Last year I created a pumpkin wreath I loved with pink, burgundy and white pumpkins that I hung in Jackie’s room. This year, I wanted to recreate that pumpkin wreath and hang it in my room. I found these adorable pink pumpkins again this year at Home Goods.

I still needed four stems of each color. I was able to clip the pumpkins off the stems and use the smaller stems to insert the pumpkins in groups of three into the wreath form, gluing with a hot glue gun where needed. I did use a smaller wreath form this year, but I tried to go with the same colors: burgundy, light pink and white.

If I'm being completely honest, I hated it. The wreath form was smaller, which meant that less pumpkins fit and it just felt…off. So I took all the burgundy off and I used a different lighter pink (that I also found at Home Goods). I glued all of the pumpkins back on to the wreath form and I was already liking it better with the new color combination.
However, there were a lot of gaps between the pumpkins, which you can see here. So I went to Michael's and I got this really pretty stem of these silvery-beige leaves. I glued those in the gaps and I love how this turned out. This new and improved wreath fits my style so much more and just looks better in my room as opposed to the old wreath. You can find everything I used here. Happy decorating!
