DIY Friday: How to Organize Your Closets

DIY Friday- How To Organize Your Closets | Breezing Through-1

Today's DIY Friday is going to be a little bit different. When we moved into our current place I was in the middle of planning the conference in Poland and doing my last 2 semesters of school. I really didn't have a chance to organize everything the way I would have liked. Now that I am done with school and the conference is over, I have had the time to organize our closets the way I want. Just so you know, this is NOT an ad, I just wanted to share with you how I did this!

Our linen closet was a disaster. Blankets strewn everywhere and random stuff shoved where ever it would fit. I had anxiety every time I opened the door. I took some measurements to make sure I got the right size baskets and bins. I love that these bins have lids and were CHEAP, but they still look really good. I took advantage of the tall bottom shelf to put a lot of our Christmas decorations. I love how this closet turned out. I actually open the door every now and then just so I can see how organized it is.

Our pantry wasn't much better than the linen closet. There was food everywhere and I had trouble accessing the stuff I needed. I love these baskets I found at Target, I can see everything and I can access it all without everything falling on the floor in the process. I also put this basket on top of the fridge so that we could put lunch boxes there. It makes the top of the fridge less cluttered.

I have linked all of the items from this post below so you can find them all easily.
