If you remember, the most popular, and one of my favorite projects, is the house bed I built for my daughter. One of the most common questions I get asked it is: what sheets do you use? In the process of building the bed, I did a ton research looking for the best bedding. I knew, because of how tight the space is, that traditional bedding would make it really hard to make the bed. That's when I found Beddy's.

The founder of Beddy’s (bed-ease), Betsy, started the company because she wanted bedding that would work on a bunk bed and also would be easy for her small children to make her bed. She came up with the most ingenious sensory friendly product! It is a comforter and a sheet all in one that zips together, so no tucking blankets in, no blankets falling off of crazy toddlers in the middle of the night and no tantrums about making beds. They’ve expanded their selection to not only include the traditional Beddy’s bedding sets but also duvets, throw pillows, blankets and more.
Why We Love Beddy’s | Making The Bed
Putting Beddy’s on the bed is so easy. I only have to put one thing on Jackie’s bed whenever I change the sheets. I use sheet suspenders to keep everything really tight since her mattress isn’t very deep. After that, “making” her bed consists of zipping the comforter onto the sheet. It’s so simple that she can she can do it herself. It takes more time getting all of the stuffed animals arranged in her bed the way she likes than it does to put the bedding on.
Each Beddy’s set comes with pillow case(s) and sham(s), depending on the size of the bedding. On the blanket part, they offer all cotton backing (great for hot sleepers) or a super soft Minky backing. Jackie’s bedding is the Charlotte Luxe in white in a twin size. I love the white because I can bleach the heck out of it and it stays crisp white, but they come in lots of different colors and styles.

The sizes range from toddler sizes all the way up to King. I recently got a set for our guest bed (the Morgan in grey) in our loft, mostly because Jackie likes jumping on this bed and I was going crazy with the blankets being messed up all of the time. It has been so much easier to have the Beddy’s because the bedding stays in place. We don’t have them for our bed, yet, but my cousin does and she says that not fighting over the blankets with her husband has been a game changer!
