Virginia: Sky Meadows Park

On Labor Day (a holiday we celebrate here in the States on the first Monday of September), we all took the day off of work and went to Sky Meadows Park. We took food from Chick-fil-A and had a picnic. It was really fun to explore the park. We took my two youngest cousins and they had the best time running around all of the paths.Virginia: Sky Meadows Park | Breezing Through Virginia: Sky Meadows Park | Breezing Through Virginia: Sky Meadows Park | Breezing Through

After awhile, the youngest got tired so she hitched a ride on my dad's shoulders. Virginia: Sky Meadows Park | Breezing Through Virginia: Sky Meadows Park | Breezing Through Virginia: Sky Meadows Park | Breezing Through

After a few hours, a big storm started rolling in so we packed everything up and headed back home.Virginia: Sky Meadows Park | Breezing Through

On our way back, we drove through The Plains, Virginia. I insisted on stopping to take a few pictures because it was such a cute little town.

According to my uncle, The Rail Stop is somewhere everyone needs to eat at. We had already eaten lunch and it was closed for the holiday so we didn't get a chance to stop but I am hoping to go back soon since it's not too far away.Virginia: Sky Meadows Park | Breezing Through

I loved this sign! It gives a great perspective on where you are in Virginia!
