Things We Needed From the States

My parents are visiting us here in Argentina! They are our first visitors which is so exciting, but it's also great because they brought some much needed necessities that we can only get in the US. We have found some things aren't consistently available here in Argentina and some things from home we just like better, so having them brought to us is amazing!

Things We Needed From the States | M&Ms

First up was a giant tub of M&Ms you can get Costco or Sam's Club, it's only like $10 for the whole bucket. I can only find small packs here in Argentina and they are $2 per pack. Considering M&M's are my daughters favorite treat, having a huge tub for a good price is super nice.

Things We Needed From the States | Stain Stick Pen

I have not found anything here as good of a stain remover as Tide. I've looked everywhere and tried a lot of different products, but they don't to a whole lot. I really wish I had my Dawn Power Wash, which is my FAVORITE stain remover, but these will work way better than the stuff I have found here.

Things We Needed From the States | Razors

You can get razors in Argentina, but they are more expensive here than they are at home. Also, it's really hard to find refills, especially the ones I like to use. They also don't have the specific kind my husband likes to use.

Things We Needed From the States | Kiziks

I am very disappointed to say that Kizik is discontinuing the bigger kid sizes which is pretty sad especially as the parent of an autistic child who loves these shoes. I have had to stock up on sizes since they're discontinuing her size and I don't know if we'll ever be able to get them again. The Kizik shoes she has currently have been worn to death so I'm still convincing her she needed a new pair. My husband also needed a new pair so my mom brought both.

Things We Needed From the States | Favorite Dresses

The last thing we needed was a few replacement dresses for my daughters favorite Taylor Joelle dresses. I've talked all about how much we love our Taylor Joelle clothes and dresses specifically. They're great for Halloween, costumes, and everyday wear. My daughter has been wearing them whenever she doesn't have to wear a uniform for years. She loves her dresses so I wanted to make sure she had a few to wear as replacements. I always get a few sizes too big because they last way longer.

My mom also brought some other things like some gifts for the kids from other family members and some friends. My parents brought some gifts for the kids, but this list is everything I specifically asked for.

There were a few other things I wanted, but we live in hurricane area so the packages didn't get there in time. Luckily, we only have two months left here so we will survive until we get home. It's coming up so quickly and even though I'm sad at the prospect of leaving this adventure, I'm really looking forward to being home.
