Teacher & Therapist Gift Ideas
The holidays are here, which means it is time for gifting! If you have a child with special needs, you may have multiple teachers and several therapists you're looking for gifts for. I've come up with six different gift ideas at varying price points. These will work for teachers, therapists, neighbors, coworkers, or even hostess gifts, the people that you would like to give a gift to, but you're not super close with and don't know them all that well. I'm also sharing a few different packaging ideas in case you don't want do a gift bag or wrapping a gift isn't your thing.
Teacher & Therapist Gift Ideas | Under $20 Gifts
First gift set is a faux leather scrunchie keyring from Shop Andi I absolutely love paired with a small hand lotion and a cute little wallet all coming in under $20. Next is a cute little jewelry box from Target. These jewelry boxes come in a bunch of different colors and textures, paired with hand lotion and a lip balm for $12 total. Last set is my favorite Christmas socks from Target with some hand lotion for about $10. I really like using treat boxes for smaller gifts because all you have to do is add tissue paper, so that’s how I wrapped all three of these.
Teacher & Therapist Gift Ideas | Over $20 Gifts
I like to get Stanley tumblers when they're on sale. Stanley tumblers are trendy, cute, come in a lot of different colors and are so functional. I personally have both of these styles and love them both. The 40-ounce Stanley Quencher tumbler doesn’t actually go on sale because it’s so popular, but the flip straw model was on sale and it was $21 when I bought it. I just wrapped these in wrapping paper in the box they come in. Next up is a great hostess gift or a gift for someone with kids. We have a plethora of Jelly Cat stuffed animals. They are SO soft and always a hit with kids or great décor! I got a cute snowman was $30 and wrapped it up in a small gift bag.
The last gift idea is the SOFTEST socks from Saranoni, which I actually just wrapped with wrapping paper, and I got several pairs of these socks when they were on sale when they were $11 but they normally are $16. Gift them individually or pair them with a small gift card, a foot mask or some lip balm and lotion you’re good to go. They can be wrapped simply with wrapping paper or the treat boxes I previously mentioned.
Teacher & Therapist Gift Ideas | Tips
I sometimes like to get ahead of things and wrap gifts before I've decided who is getting them. In that case, I will label them so I know what's in them with a tag or sticky note. Once I've decided who's getting it, I'll take the label off and attach a card. This is especially a nice thing to do when you've got neighbor and hostess gifts. You can just throw a tag on it later or just take off the label altogether and keep them in a bag or a basket by your front door, so they’re ready to give to someone when you need a last minute gift. I do like to stock up on stuff like this throughout the entire year when stuff goes on sale. I just keep an eye out for it, which then allows me to get some higher price point items like the Stanley Tumblers. Hopefully this gives you some ideas for gifts for the friends in your life.
