Spring Home Decor Ideas | Keeping It Simple

Earlier this year, I shared our Winter Home Decor so you could see how I decorate after the holidays. But now that Valentine's Day is over and the groundhog says Spring is around the corner, I have switched over our decorations. So today I am sharing some Spring Home Decor ideas so you can get some inspiration for your own home.

By now, you have probably figured out that I like to keep things simple. We won't be staying in this apartment forever so I don't want to only have decorations that will work in this space. I want things I can use in future homes but aren't in the way of our daily lives.

Spring Home Decor Ideas | Entry Way

The entry way is a newer space for me to decorate, thanks to Jackie's little area for keeping her school stuff. I feel like this space is now complete and it has been fun to add little touches of each season here. Since it is a small space, there isn't a ton I can do but with the ledge and the mirror, it's something fun to play with! I choose this pom garland and this rainbow garland because I thought they were so cute! You may have seen the Valentine's Day garlands that I shared earlier this month. What I like about these garlands is that they are perfect for Spring, Birthdays and Summer. I won't have to switch them out until Fall! There are some other cute ones that are specific for spring and Easter that I have linked at the bottom of the post.

I made the wreath! My brother got married last year and we used the leftover flowers to make a few wreaths so they didn't go to waste. I love how it turned out and it stays up until I switch it out for the blue wreath I use for the holidays and winter.

I found this darling vase, fake plant, flower stem and leaves in the Target Dollar Spot. I have linked some similar ones at the bottom of the post too. Just like the rainbow banners, I can leave these up until Fall or I can switch out the flower/plant for something else if I want to!

Spring Home Decor Ideas | Kitchen

On to the kitchen. You may remember the Toddler Friendly Fall Centerpiece and the Toddler Friendly Christmas Centerpiece I shared last year. We have such a big island in our kitchen but it is the majority of the counter space. This means that while those centerpieces were fun and cute, they kind of got in the way, if I am being honest. So to keep The Husband from losing his mind, I decided to minimize the number of items on the island this time. The vase was a wedding gift and I love it! It can hold vase fillers or flowers and it is so unique.

Except for the egg bowl and the bunny dish, everything is toddler friendly. As you know, I like to have things that Jackie can carry around that I don't have to worry about her breaking. I found the garland at Target and even though I already had two, I wanted to add this one as well. I felt like garland tied everything on the island together!
