New Year’s Eve Tile Mat Ideas

We did some Holiday tile mat designs, but now that 2023 is coming to a close let's specifically do some New Year's designs to ring in 2024!

New Year’s Eve Tile Mat Ideas | Cheers 2023

On the first design, I decided to do just a simple "Cheers 2023". I spelled out "cheers" with 55 Teal Glitter tiles, then I used 51 Pink Glitter tiles to write "2023" and added 14 Gold Glitter tiles throughout for an added amount of sparkle polka dots. I love all the sparkle in this design, it screams "New Year’s" to me. New Year's Eve is sparkly and these are glittery so they go hand in hand. I like this one. It's cute and doesn't take a lot of time or effort and it is perfect for New Year's Eve.

New Year’s Eve Tile Mat Ideas | 2024

For this design, I really REALLY wanted the zero on the 2024 to be fireworks, but I just could not make it work. So, I decided to keep the zero like this instead. Again, I am using the Pink Glitter, Teal Glitter, and Gold Glitter for this one to add sparkle to it. I used 131 Fog tiles to create the numbers and then then added 42 Gold Glitter tiles throughout just make it have a little bit more of a New Year's Eve feel. Then I added in 11 Pink Glitter and 10 Teal Glitter tiles as well so it looks like confetti raining down. I use those a lot in these designs because New Year's Eve and glitter go hand in hand, but glitter goes with everything in my mind if I'm being honest!

New Year’s Eve Tile Mat Ideas | Ring In The New Year

This next one is going to be a little bit more detailed. I decided to do a quote that you see a lot, "ring in the new year" and I added a gold bell because, why not? I decided to stay away from the glitter tiles on this one and I just went really colorful, bright and fun because that's my style and I thought that that would be a really fun way to do this specific mat. While the bell does take a little bit more effort, it is not that much work in general. I used 29 Tropical Teal tiles for the word “ring”, 13 Lilac tiles for “in”, 26 Spring Green tiles for “the”, 31 Raspberry Sorbet tiles, which can be subbed for Hot Pink, for the word “new”, I used 36 Glacial Blue tiles for the word “year”, and then 70 Gold tiles for the gold bell.

New Year’s Eve Tile Mat Ideas | Countdown

This last design is probably my favorite. I saw someone do this on a letter board on Pinterest and I thought it would be really cool to do it as a design on the tile mat. This one, again, I didn’t use any of the glitter tiles. I just went really colorful and then used the Rose Gold and Gold tiles at the very end. If you can't tell, this is a countdown from 10 to 1 alternating between spelling out the letter and just writing the number. On this design I used 12 Raspberry Sorbet tiles (again, could be subbed for Hot Pink) for “10”, 31 Glacial Blue tiles for “nine”, 11 Mistletoe tiles for “8”, 47 Daffodil tiles for “seven”, 10 Tropical Teal tiles for “6”, 29 Lilac tiles for “five”, 9 Aqua Lagoon tiles for “4”, 42 Cinnamon tiles for “three”, 9 Aqua Lagoon tiles for “2”, and 27 Fog tiles for “one”. Then 3 Rose Gold tiles for the three dots and 35 Gold Glitter tiles writing out 2024. I love how unique this design is, its a little time intensive but so fun!

I always have so much fun with tile mat designs! I love being able to show my creative side, so stay tuned for more next season!
