Modest Dresses from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale | Modest Dresses

For me, I am always looking for modest dresses and other items during a sale like this. I want items I can wear easily and I don't have to worry about what is showing. Luckily, there quite a few modest dresses included in this sale. I filtered the dresses from the sale so that only knee length or longer and short sleeve or longer dresses showed up. I also filtered the necklines to not include cold shoulder, off the shoulder and one shoulder dresses. You can shop the results here.

I ended up buying two dresses from the sale. This first one is an actual wrap dress. I am not usually a fan of wrap dresses, I like faux wraps better. But I LOVE this dress! The colors are perfect to wear both now and in the fall. I can throw a jacket on with it and it will be great in cooler weather. In order for this dress to meet my standards, I did have to add a half cami under it. But I still love it!

The second dress I bought is a long sleeved, midi navy dress. It comes in two colors and two stripe patterns, so there are several options. I love that it will take me through the winter and I can layer it with pretty much anything. It goes with sweaters, jackets, dusters, pretty much anything. I can dress it up and dress it down depending on the shoes and accessories I wear. I will be sharing more pictures of it next week!
