Dress (Asos)//Necklace (Kendra Scott)//LipSense Color (Caramel Apple)

I wanted to share my maternity photoshoot before baby girl gets here. I know I keep saying it, but I am pretty sure she is arriving soon. Baby girl is head down, has dropped pretty low and I am having contractions. Nothing consistent but definitely noticeable.

I love this dress from Asos. It is so flattering and is actually really comfortable. It's great for maternity pictures or a formal occasion while you are pregnant. It is very long, I am 5'8" and it was long on me.

When we were at the beach a few weeks ago, it really sunk in that our whole world is about to change. I think I was so focused on getting physically ready for baby girl's arrival, getting the nursery ready and having all of the necessary baby things, that I wasn't mentally preparing myself. Don't be mistaken, we are so incredibly excited for her arrival. I can't wait to be a mom. But I have spent the last 8 years doing my own thing, even after The Husband and I were married. I have had the opportunity to travel all over the world because of work and I have loved every minute of it.

All of that is going to change. I am going to want to take baby girl with me. Or if I leave her at home, I will miss her terribly. Traveling is going to become a lot more complicated. I pride myself on being able to pack very lightly, even when I am going on a long trip overseas. I know that this is going to change very drastically. That doesn't mean it won't be fun. I can't wait to take her to the beach for the first time. Or overseas for the first time. I want so many things for her, things I never experienced. I want her to learn languages and be musical like her dad. I want her to experience different countries like her mom. I want her to be kind and compassionate, strong and intelligent. I honestly can't wait to meet her. Here is to not waiting too much longer!
