Master Bedroom: Then Vs Now | The Old Apartment

As I mentioned in Monday's post, we made a big upgrade space wise. With that new space, our master bedroom got bigger. A lot bigger actually. Our old master bedroom could barely fit our bed, night stands and dressers. There was about 1.5 feet between the end of the bed and the dressers to walk. It worked while we lived there. I ran into the dressers on a regular basis but we weren't complaining! We also had one bathroom, so all three of us shared it. Again, nothing to complain about. It is just different now! Master Bedroom Update

Master Bedroom: Then Vs Now | The New Apartment

As you can see, our master bedroom is much bigger now. There is more space between the end of the bed and the dressers. There is much more space on each side of the bed as well. We have a lovely bathroom, I am obsessed with the shower! I had thought about trying to put a vanity in the master bedroom but the bathroom ended up being big enough that I can keep a stool on there and just use the bathroom vanity. You might have noticed our new iRobot. The Husband has named it Waffles and says it's our dog. Our bathroom is the best place to keep it because Jackie's doesn't go in there very often. She likes to push the start button because it makes a fun noise.

The one downside in our new bedroom is the closet. You may remember our MASSIVE closet in the old apartment. It was probably the size of Jackie's old room. The closet in the new place is about half that size. I was still able to fit everything into the closet but it's a little more crowded and the random things I used to store in the closet were moved to the hall closet (which is huge).

With a new space, comes different lay outs. In the new place, we have less wall space but more windows. This made deciding where to put pictures a little tricky. I love a good gallery wall and we had 3 large ones in the old apartment. The largest wall in the new place was in our bedroom so I decided to put the travel wall there. I still have a handful of pictures I have not hung yet because I haven't figured out where they are going to hang!
