South Carolina: Hilton Head

Last Spring we went to Hilton Head Island during the husband's Spring Break from law school. His break was the same as my younger brother's break from school so it was a perfect time to go. We stayed at the Marriott Vacation Club Surf's Watch and Barony Beach. We love the Marriott Vacation Club program, there are so many amazing places to stay!Going to Hilton Head in the early Spring is something my family has done a handful of times and it is really fun! There are very few people on the island because it is still pretty chilly out so the beaches are empty. But it's not so cold that you can't go on the beach! Of course, I had to collect some seashells (I can't resist). I spent most of the week combing the beach hunting for the perfect seashells. I did find an amazing conch shell, which I was really excited about! I will be doing a blog post in the next few weeks about what to do with all the sea shells you have gathered over the years!While the air temperature wasn't too cold, the water was FREEZING! But I am adventures enough to venture in to find the perfect sea shell! One of the days we were there, we reserved one the cabanas the hotel had. It was really fun to just hang out and relax by the water!
