Baby boy is 6 months old, can you believe it?! After 6 months of testing our favorite baby products, I wanted to give you a comprehensive list of our 10 favorite baby products for the first six months. None of these are required, they're all "nice to haves" or we've just found them to be really helpful.

Favorite Baby Products for the First 6 Months | Dreamland Baby Co Sleep Sack

This is a weighted sleep sack and it's been really nice for our baby that likes to have compression when he sleeps. As he starts to roll around more and sleep on his stomach, which I have a feeling he will soon, we can flip it so that the weight is instead on his back.

Favorite Baby Products for the First 6 Months | This Fisher Price Baby Portable Baby Chair

I really like this chair because it folds almost flat, is super easy to put together and take apart, and it stores really nicely. It has several different levels you can lock and then have baby sit at different levels depending on their recline needs. There is also a tray that can either be a play tray or a snack tray. It comes in several different designs and colors; I especially like the one I have because its pretty gender neutral.

Favorite Baby Products for the First 6 Months | Free Swimming Baby Pool Float

My parents have a pool so having a pool float for the baby is kind of key for us. I like this one because he can be either on his stomach or on his back and he is strapped in with a three point harness. There are adjustable supports on the side you can inflate or deflate depending on the size of your baby and, as an added bonus, it has a sunshade.

This sound machine is a game changer. I love this thing because its portable, compact and does not require batteries or to be plugged in. It also has a nightlight, lots of different sound options, and you can literally clip it and take it anywhere.

This has been a really big hit so far, little brother absolutely loves it! We love he is secure now while also knowing that as he gets bigger and older, we can flip the strap around and attach it to the back so he can keep using it.

Favorite Baby Products for the First 6 Months | Guava Family Lotus Travel Crib

I bought this for our daughter so it's six years old now and still holding strong! We also used it as the bassinet setup when he was little after purchasing the bassinet kit. The whole thing folds up pretty small, is super easy to carry, and great for traveling. I also really like that the side can unzip where you can open up the little window either so you can get to them easier or baby can crawl in and out when they're old enough.

I found this on Amazon and there are a number of things that I like about it. First, it folds up really, really nicely just like the Fisher Price chair. The seat rotates so baby can access the entire thing without you having to move them. All of the toys and the seat are clipped in so you can actually take them out for cleaning or you can put parts on the top and turn this into a play table. It even comes with two stools and you can adjust the height of the legs so that you have a lot more to work with height wise, space wise, and just in general.

I'm going to preface this by saying I know this is an expensive high chair but I actually didn't buy it. It's a hand me down from a friend who actually got it as a hand me down from at least one other friend. I think baby brother is now the 15th or so child to use this high chair. All to say it is a VERY durable chair. I love that it's on wheels, it is collapsible and it is adjustable, both height and reclining. You have a lot of options when it comes to strapping baby in and there's also a really nice removable tray with another tray on top of that. I cannot recommend this chair enough!

I absolutely love this thing. Baby has gotten really heavy and doesn't like being in a baby carrier and sometimes doesn't even want to be in his stroller. Favorite Baby Products for the First 6 Months | UppaBaby Stroller and Insert Snuggle Seat Insert

I bought this stroller when our daughter was born, so we've had it for more than six years now. However, I don't believe the snuggle seat was a thing when she was a baby. Considering baby brother is not a big fan of his car seat, I wanted to find another option for him. The snuggle seat is really nice because even though the rumble seat on the UppaBaby holds up to 50 pounds, it is also pretty deep, so a baby his age can kind of get lost in the seat on its own. We love it.
