A DC Favorite, The Cactus Cantina

We have been eating at the Cactus Cantina for as long as I can remember. Located at 3300 Wisconsin Ave. NW, it's hard to miss with the giant cactus wrapped in Christmas lights out front. Parking isn't easy, but they recently built a garage for the Giant down the block so you can park there! The entrance for the garage is around the block but you can take an elevator to the street level which is accessible one door down from the restaurant.A DC Favorite, The Cactus Cantina | Breezing Through The queso is some of the best I've had. It has to be the mixture of cheese and other yummy things they put in it to make it so good.A DC Favorite, The Cactus Cantina | Breezing Through Chuck always gets the beef quesadilla, which is says is amazing.A DC Favorite, The Cactus Cantina | Breezing Through Paris loves their enchiladas. They use corn tortillas so this is a great option for the gluten free crowd. You can add cheese, beef for chicken with several options for sauces.A DC Favorite, The Cactus Cantina | Breezing Through I always choose something different but this time I went with one of the Monday specials-brisket tacos. Soft corn tortillas with yummy brisket topped off with onions and cilantro! Delicious! A DC Favorite, The Cactus Cantina | Breezing ThroughBreezing Through Blog
