3 Valentine's Day Outfit Options | Dressing For Valentine's Day
We all have different ways of celebrating holidays, including Valentine's Day. I personally don't love going out for dinner or making a big deal about Valentine's Day. I like random days to be special or have our anniversary be special. That doesn't mean that I don't like to dress for the holiday though! Personally, I will be wearing something more like outfit #2 during the day and outfit #3 in the evening. I did ask my social media following if they wanted to see Valentine's Day outfit options from me and the answer was a resounding yes! So here are three outfit ideas you can easily recreate and are fairly inexpensive.
3 Valentine's Day Outfit Options | Outfit #1
The focus of this outfit is the dress. I have seen this dress make the rounds on Instagram and I decided to give it a try. I ended up loving it so much, I now own it in two colors! Being a sweater dress, it is warm enough to wear in chilly February weather but dressy enough to wear to a Valentine's Day dinner.
As you can see, this dress is TIGHT. I ended up wearing both tights and Spanx with it because it was warmer and kept everything tucked in and smooth. I would highly recommend wearing this dress with shape wear! Although the size chart for this dress lists a small as fitting sizes 4-6, I ended up getting a medium (fitting 8-10). I usually wear somewhere between a size 4 and 6 depending on the brand. Due to how form fitting this dress is, I would strongly suggest going up a size.

The sweater in this outfit is amazing! Another item I had seen make the rounds on social media, I wasn't sure how it was going to fit or look on me. I am also weary of tops that have a hole in the back. The key hole in the back of this sweater is not very big however and I love the bow detail. I love the soft colors of this sweater and that it is different than most striped sweaters.
I am also wearing a size medium in this sweater. Wanting more length, I decided to size up. I could have sized up to a large but I think the sleeves would have been too long! My mom got me these Ugg snow boots when I was in college and I have loved them ever since. They are very warm and have amazing tread. They are definitely worth the money for how well they preform in the snow! The hat was a gift from a friend that came in a set with a scarf. It is one of the softer hats I now own and I love the color!

This is the perfect outfit for staying in all day or in the evening. I am really into finding seasonal clothing items that can also be worn other times of the year. I love these pj pants because they work for Valentine's Day but they aren't covered in hearts or cheesy sayings. They are classic and can be worn throughout the year. The pants did come with a matching top but I chose to pair it with this cozy Zyia Activewear top.
These Ugg boots are one of my favorite purchased of 2019. I got them on sale, they are still on sale FYI, and I wear them whenever it is cold outside and I am not planning on going through snow or mud. The bow on the front keeps them from looking too much like a classic Ugg boot while also looking really cute. They come in 4 colors!
