10 Things I Am Glad I Brought for 6 Months Out of the Country

We've officially been in Argentina for a month. Since we are nice and settled, I've been able to think about all of the things we have that I'm SO glad we brought from home. I want to share this list with you incase you are planning any overseas travel too!

10 Things I Am Glad I Brought for 6 Months Out Of the Country | 1-Portable Baby High Chair

We love this portable high chair. It comes in a little pouch and unfolds and then you have ability to attach it to pretty much any chair. I haven't had an issue attaching it to anything that wasn't a bench so far. It clips around the bottom and then the bottom of the seat folds up. You strap it around the baby and then there are two harness straps on it. The other nice thing is that it is washable and folds right back up to be thrown in your diaper bag.

10 Things I Am Glad I Brought for 6 Months Out Of the Country | 2-Wayb Pico Travel seat.

This thing is SO incredible! It is only eight pounds and I absolutely love it. Its recommended use is to be above 30 pounds and over a year old which isn't a problem for us because baby brother definitely meets that criteria. It is a front facing seat, just so you're aware, has a place for you to pass a seatbelt through and then one anchor point on the back. You can adjust the headrest and it folds up nice and small. 10/10 recommend!

10 Things I Am Glad I Brought for 6 Months Out Of the Country | 3-The UPPAbaby Vista Stroller.

I will die on this hill. This is the BEST travel stroller. I know everyone likes the small, lightweight, compact ones, but this one can handle any terrain. It also has a ton of storage space. You can put groceries, a diaper bag, and so much more and it has the option of carrying up to 3 kids. In my book, it's unbeatable.

10 Things I Am Glad I Brought for 6 Months Out Of the Country | 4- The Guava Family Lotus Travel Crib.

This is another one we've had since my daughter was a baby. I really like this travel crib because it's lightweight, but also you can unzip the front of it. While we're not using it as a bed in our apartment because we were provided a crib, this is a nice place for the baby to be able to go play if he wants some time alone and I know he's safe and secure.

10 Things I Am Glad I Brought for 6 Months Out Of the Country | 5- Bed Tent

We got this bed tent about three years ago and it has been awesome! It does require a little bit more setup, but it's very compact when it is not set up, so it's really easy to travel with. We have kept it up the entire time so setting it up only once wasn't a big deal. We love that it serves as a really nice barrier between the two kids since they're sharing a room.

10 Things I Am Glad I Brought for 6 Months Out Of the Country | 6- Waterproof Kids Camera

This was a birthday gift from my brother and his wife to my daughter for her birthday. It is awesome because it is a camera and a video camera in one, and with the case its waterproof! We've tested it out and it works in the pool and in the ocean, but it's also great because she can carry it around at school. It's super lightweight, charges with a USB and has a little SD card in it. My daughter loves how easy it is to carry around and we love knowing it is sturdy enough to not break while she does!

10 Things I Am Glad I Brought for 6 Months Out Of the Country | 7- Our Pillows from Home

I'm SO glad we brought our pillows. The ones we have are memory foam where the foam is shredded on the inside. It makes it so much easier to customize them to your preference. We are sleeping so much better because we brought these!

10 Things I Am Glad I Brought for 6 Months Out Of the Country | 8- Dual Voltage Steamer/Iron.

This thing has been a lifesaver because all of our clothes were packed in vacuum sealed bags so they were very, very wrinkly when we got here. This steamer just makes it super easy to be able to steam all the wrinkles out slowly, one piece of clothing at a time.

10 Things I Am Glad I Brought for 6 Months Out Of the Country | 9- My Prescription Glasses

This one might surprise some people and seem self explanatory, but I only need to wear my glasses to drive technically. However, since we're in the city and walking around all of the time I want to be able to see things, so having my prescription glasses has been really nice.

10 Things I Am Glad I Brought for 6 Months Out Of the Country | 10- Backup Portable Chargers

I love these! We have ones that are USBC and also lightning cord compatible. So they're really nice because they just attach to a tablet or a phone. You don't need any extra cords and it charges through the USBC. Also, there's a little button on the side that shows you how much battery it has.

These things have made our transition SO much smoother. Hopefully they will help you with your travel too!
