Why I Am Loving Navy Hair Care | Struggles with Hair

My hair is something I tend to neglect. I could be so much better about how I take care of it and what products I use on it. Over the last year, I was using a custom shampoo and conditioner. Sadly, I didn't feel like it was actually doing anything for my hair. I felt like it was more greasy than it had been and I wasn't seeing an improvement in the health of my hair. You would think that I would just stop using them and move on. But I wanted to give them as much of a chance as possible and I wanted to use most of the products before I bought more. I used up the original bottles and then started to do some research on other options. I did not get any more of those products.

I have decided that you can't truly have a custom shampoo or conditioner unless you work with someone who has handled your hair and knows what your individual needs are. An online quiz just doesn't cut it. So I decided to go with products that I had read/seen good reviews for from people with lots of different kinds of hair.

Navy Hair Care has popped up over the last year and I have been seeing positive reviews from people that I trust. After watching reading reviews for several months, I took a chance and bought it. At first I started off with the Shampoo, Conditioner and Whirlpool Styling Foam. I wanted to give myself a chance to test them out before committing to more products. I bought these in June and have been using them every week since.

Over Labor Day weekend I also bought the Dunes Hair Mask and the Pebble Beach: Dry Texture Spray. I have used the Pebbled Beach texture spray a few times since I bought it but I have now only tried the hair mask once, when I did the pictures for this post. But I couldn't recommend them more!

I have seen a drastic change in my hair in just 4 months. I know that isn't a very long time and it could change again. But for now, I am happy enough with the results that I have bought more of the shampoo and conditioner so I don't run out of it.

My hair is shinier and lasts longer between washes. I my scalp would get itchy between washes with other shampoos and conditioners but I don't have that problem with the Navy Hair Care products. I have actually gone more than 10 days between washes while using these! I also feel like I can use these multiple days in a row without damaging my hair. I took these with me when we went to the beach, and I used the shampoo and conditioner every day. I have felt like some shampoos/conditioners can be harsh on your hair when you use them every day. Not these! My hair looked amazing after every use.

I think the biggest improvement I have seen is the amount of shine I now have. I have thick, coarse hair which tends to be frizzier. While using Navy Hair care, I have seen a lot less frizz and a lot more shine. Does it get better than that? I can't wait to see how this hair mask changes my hair and how much better my hair will be over the next year.
