Over the last few months, we have been trying to find activities that Jackie loves to do and will ask for. I have found a few that have been really fun for the entire family and I wanted to share them with you today. Some of my most requested posts are activities to do with toddlers. I usually share some holiday themed activities but this time I wanted to share some more general activities that you can do all year long.

I came across Doughsie Dough on Instagram a few months ago. I had been looking into creating an activity/sensory bin for Jackie but I was a little overwhelmed with where to start. Luckily Doughsie Dough has it all ready for you to buy and they mail it to you. There are so many different themes for these kits that it is easy to find one that your child will love. There are even mini kits that are perfect for traveling or even gifts.
I got Jackie the African Safari kit, because she LOVES animals. Turns out that was the right decision. She carries around the animals that came in the kit all the time. At first, she wasn't all that interested in the play dough or the other fun items in the kit but over the last few weeks she has started to play with them and ask me to get them out. I love this kit because it is an easy and fun activity for Jackie, there is very little mess, and she isn't begging me to watch tv. So it is a win for everyone.
Jackie's Favorite Toddler Activities | Coloring
We have been trying to get Jackie into coloring for awhile not but she recently became very interested in it. She asks several times a day to color, which I love. I have two different things for her to do when it comes to coloring. First are the Color Happy pages from Rad & Happy. You pay $5 a month and get 3 new coloring pages every month that you can print out and use as many times as you want. And you always have access to those pages. Tara designs all of them herself. There is usually an animal in one of her designs and Jackie loves that. She just released the October ones and they are so cute! I let Jackie color these with crayons since they aren't messy and harder to draw all over everything with.
The other coloring activity Jackie loves is the Crayola Color Wonder coloring books. I LOVE these markers because they don't draw on anything but the special pages and Jackie loves the books because they include some of her favorite characters. They are also great for travel because you don't have to worry about markers getting on everything or exploding in your bag.
Jackie's Favorite Toddler Activities | Animals
Have you picked up that Jackie loves animals? They are a big deal in our house, she knows more animal names and sounds than the average adult. One of her favorite activities when it comes to animals are these animal magnets. We have them on the magnetic chalkboard strip that I put on our pillar. Every time Jackie gets out of bed, she goes straight for the magnets and wants to talk about them. I ask her to find each animal by using their names, colors or the sounds they make. It is a great learning activity for her.
