What To Wear to a Beach Wedding | What Makes It Different

Can you believe I had never been to a beach wedding until this weekend? It turns out finding something to wear was kind of hard. I was through three different options before I settled on what I actually wore, which is very out of character for me. The weather the sand, the water can all be factors in what you end up wearing. A beach wedding in April meant I decided on something that was a bit warmer than my usual beach wear. I really like the idea of a maxi dress at a beach wedding, which is what I ended up wearing. They are flowy and can add a little warmth to your look, while also looking very put together.

Be sure to follow the invitation when deciding what to wear. Most beach weddings are casual but if it says "Black Tie" then you need to be more formal. Don't wear white unless asked.
