Valentine's Day Gift Ideas for Teachers | Let's Talk Valentine's Day

Last year I did a post on easy Valentine's Day gifts for your girlfriends. This year I wanted to do something a little different and since Jackie is in school, talking about Valentine's Day gift ideas for teachers seemed like the best idea!

I know that most classes have parties for the kids and they all hand out something to each other. But what about the teachers? These wonderful people spend so much time, energy and money on their kids that I feel like any chance we get to celebrate them and show them our appreciation, we should. Since Jackie is in a Preschool Autism Class, she has one teacher and two aids in her class. She also has two bus drivers (one for the mornings and full day afternoons, and another for the half day drop offs) and one aid on each bus. Since Jackie didn't start school until after the holidays, I wanted to do something for all of them. I have linked a bunch of items at the bottom of this post for you to shop and give you some ideas.

Valentine's Day Gift Ideas for Teachers | Spa Day Gift Bag

The Dollar Spot at Target is my best friend for these kinds of gifts. You can find really cute and fun things that won't break the bank. One of the ideas I came up with was a mini spa day gift bag. I found draw string bags that would fit a sheet mask, lotion, body scrub and bath bomb. Each one of the bags I did had a scent theme so nothing clashed. I also added some milk and dark chocolate Dove hearts to each bag.

The nice thing about this idea is that they will easily fit in your child's backpack and you don't have to worry about it getting lost or forgotten on the bus. They also mail very easily so you can send them to girlfriends as well!

Valentine's Day Gift Ideas for Teachers | Self Care Gift Bag

The other idea I came up with was a more chocolate heavy bag with some EOS lip balm sets. These would also easily fit in the drawstring bags but I decided to put them in the gift bags instead. I can hand deliver these to the bus drivers & aids when they pick up/drop off Jackie.

I do want to talk about the bags for a minute. There are some bags like these in the Target Dollar Spot right now but I stocked up on these over the summer. They are $1 and include the tissue paper. I love stocking up on these to use throughout the year when I need one. I also used some cute ribbon and trim I found in the Dollar Spot to tie the tags (also found in the Dollar Spot) to the bags. This gave each bag a little special touch!
