Toddler Valentine's Day Gift Ideas | Let's Talk Valentine's Day

Last year I did a post on Fun Valentine's Day Activities to do with your Toddler. Can we take a minute and talk about how tiny Jackie was in those pictures!? This year I wanted to focus more on toddler Valentine's Day gift ideas.

I like to do some gifts on Valentine's Day for Jackie. My mom did this when we were kids and I remember those more clearly than any card I received from classmates. I decided last year to keep the tradition alive. I don't want to go over board because we just had Christmas and Easter isn't too far away but I like doing a small basket of things that also include activities for us to do together. Let's talk about the activities I include in the basket. These were both found in the Dollar Spot at Target so they aren't going to break the bank but will be fun.

I am sure by now you all know how much I love window clings. I have shared this love with Jackie and we get new ones every season. She loves putting them on the windows, moving them around periodically and talking about them. The set I am including in her basket this year has animals in it, which are her favorite. I also found this color your own poster that I thought was really fun. Jackie has really been into coloring lately and with the animals, I know this is going to be a hit.

I will use any excuse to add books to Jackie's library so I included three this time. Again, these were found in the Target Dollar Spot and I thought they were so cute!

This can be the hardest part of Valentine's Day with a toddler. Like I said before, I didn't want to go all out with this basket because of Christmas and Easter. But I also wanted to add something(s) that Jackie would love. Another mom I follow on Instagram shared these cute dinosaurs from H&M that are on sale for $5 and are the cutest colors. I bought both because Jackie has really been into dinosaurs recently and I know she will want to take them to school!
