UAE: Event Set Up

Did you win?After having a ton of fun at the Formula 1 races, we had to get down to why we were actually in Abu Dhabi! We have a huge conference to pull off and lots to do! I had a team of people that I worked with but I was (frighteningly) the one in charge. We had one day to set up and 3 1/2 days of conference. My team arrived just one day before we needed to set up so we were in a HUGE hurry getting everything together. Here are some of the quieter moments that our photographer was able to catch on film!My amazing IT guy (and my older brother) who made sure anything that was tech related was ready to go. We had a bit of a printer crises and he did everything in his power to make sure that printer was ready to go for me! I would have been lost without him!One of the cute girls that came to help me out celebrated her 18th birthday while we were there! The Ritz Carlton staff was so amazing and made it such a special day for her. We were able to briefly sit down for lunch and celebrate her big day with a beautiful cake.A lot of event set up is messy and loud. I love this picture though because it really shows what is going on pre-event.I had the most amazing team of very dear friends that came from London to help us out for the first few days. They sat in one of the rooms and got all of the name badges ready to go for the next day. I would have been so lost without them to say the least!
