UAE: My First Time In Dubai

After we had completed our meetings in Abu Dhabi, we moved to Dubai for a few days. We had several other meetings in Dubai and we would be flying out of the Dubai airport to go to Istanbul later in the week. We stayed at Dubai Marriott Harbour Hotel and Suites. We had an amazing three bedroom suite with breathtaking views of the Arabian Gulf.  Dubai is a bustling city that NEVER sleeps. We were there in June, when the weather is unbearably hot during the day. This means that a lot of outdoor work, including construction, happens at night. Our hotel room was on the 27th floor so we were able to see a lot going on from way up there! During the time we were not in meetings, we were able to explore the habour and go to the famous Mall of the Emirates and Dubai Mall.   We then went and saw the base of the Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world. It houses a hotel, restaurants, residences and office space. Even though we were exhausted, we gathered our things and jumped on a plane to Istanbul to attend a conference.
