We ate breakfast daily here as well as lunch. It is illegal to walk on the Florida Dunes as great pains are being made to preserve the wildlife that inhabit the dunes -- some of which are endangered species. It is great fun to see the lovely dunes and its inhabitants while walking to and from the beach.The Ritz Carlton Amelia Island Plantation | Breezing ThroughWith the beautiful flowering plant life. (These white flowering vines only flower in daylight. They disappear in the evenings.)The yellow daisies are some of Emily's favorite flowers.The Ritz Carlton Amelia Island Plantation | Breezing ThroughAnd the wildlife we were able to enjoy walking to and from the beach. Then I found a conk shell in the sand.The Ritz Carlton Amelia Island Plantation | Breezing ThroughI do have a bit of a weakness for beautiful shells and there are plenty of them at the beach in front of the Ritz Carlton.
