The Perfect Work Bags

I think everyone has their own opinion about what makes the "perfect" work bag. We all have different things we need from our work bags so I don't think that there is only one "perfect" bag out there. I believe this so much, that I actually have three different bags that I use for work. Each of these bags have a few similar features but they each serve a unique purpose. I have so many different things that I need a work back to do that one bag just won't cut it. I have a lot of stuff that I carry around so a good solid bag is important.The oldest of the three is my Michael Kors Jet Set Laptop Travel Tote. When I first saw this bag online, I knew I needed it for work. It was perfect! But I was not going to spend $300 on it. I so patiently waited. After about two months I was able to find a KILLER deal on it and the bag was mine. Ever since it came in the mail, I have been in love. This bag is so perfect for when I need to carry all of my work stuff with me. The center zipper pocket is great for my laptop, it is even padded. There are so many little pockets in this bag and even a place to hook my keys. This bag also travels really well. I have taken it on several overseas work trips and it does great on a plane. I can also fit my Michael Kors Large Jet Set Traveler cross-body right inside so I can still take a smaller purse on my trip. Overall, one of my favorite work bags. I received my Michael Kors Jet Set Travel East West Tote as a present from my parents. I didn't think I would use this bag for work at first but it has become a great work bag. While the center pocket is not big enough for my laptop, it does fit my iPad. Like the bigger version, there are lots of pockets to stash my stuff in. This is a great bag for shorter meetings or days when I am not carrying as much stuff around. When I first saw the kate spade new york 2 park avenue beau bag ,I knew I had to have it. But this is a $500 bag! So I waited. During the last kate spade outlet sale, I found one that I loved and it was 70% off! So of course I got it. This bag is built to be a work bag. There is a hidden inside pocket for my iPad and tons of space for all of my stuff. This bag does not come with a cross-body strap so it is a little on the heavier side but I don't mind. I like that it takes the weight off my shoulder for a change! Another great work bag. So when it comes down to buying a bag, I look for the following things to consider it a work bag:

• There is a zipper pocket for my electronics
• The leather can stand getting beat up
• The bag is made by a company I know makes good bags
• The price is reasonable for the use I will get out of the bag
• There is plenty of extra space for all of my other stuff
• It has be able to travel well
