5 Steps To Pack Your Makeup

One question I get asked a lot is how I pack my makeup when I travel. With all of the TSA regulations on how much of each liquid you can bring, it can be a bit tricky. Over the years I have mastered this 5step process so packing my make up is now a breeze!5 Steps to Pack Your Makeup-Breezing Through1) It's all about what you buy. I have discovered that one of the best ways to pack my makeup, is to buy smaller containers of makeup. This makes packing them into a quart sized bag a breeze. I have sensitive skin but I have found that Eyes Lips Face (ELF) makes some of the best makeup for me and it travels really well too. ELF makeup is usually very inexpensive so it makes buying smaller containers easier. Their makeup ranges from $1-$12 (not including make up sets). Here is some of the makeup I usually use.Breezing Through

2) Use the same makeup at home & when you travel. This is one of the smartest things you can do. You never know how your skin is going to react to the water or allergens where you are traveling to. You should use the same makeup all of the time, which will help your skin have some consistency. This also helps when packing your makeup because you can throw it all into your bag as soon as you are done putting on your makeup before you leave on your trip.3) Pack all of your liquids in a clear quart sized bag.  I find it easier to already have all of my makeup liquids packed into the clear plastic bag before I get to the airport. I see lots of people who are not prepared and have to dig out all of their liquids and quickly dump them into a plastic bag in the security line. This slows everyone else down and you can really annoy people doing that. If you are going on a longer trip, be sure to pack an extra plastic bag for the trip home!makeup in baggie4) Keep your clear plastic bag inside another bag. I don't know about you, but I have had my liquids leak while I am traveling. Usually the leak is contained inside the plastic bag but once in awhile, the leak gets EVERYWHERE. To avoid this, keep your plastic bag of liquids inside another bag or pouch. When you get to security, take the entire bag out of the pouch and place it back in when you are through security. I recently bought the Samantha Brown make up travel bag. You can freeze the bag before you leave, which keeps everything inside from overheating and I have found it helps with leaks. This bag does not appear to be for sale anymore.makeup in bag5) Keep all of your non-liquids in a small, packable bag. When the rest of your makeup is in a small, packable bag it is easier to find and it is much easier to keep together. I know a few people that just throw their non-liquid makeup into their suitcase and then they can never find it all! It is best to be as organized as possible when you travel. I usually use this bag from Forever 21 and it does the job.forever 21 bagHere are a few other bags you can keep your makeup in.kate spade new york le pavillion medium heddy- Breezing ThroughForever 21 Beauty Junkie Small Cosmetic Bag- Breezing Throughkate spade new york flashcards small iris - Breezing ThroughForever 21Striped Midsize Cosmetic Bag -Breezing Through     Breezing Through Blog
