Sunflowers for Days
Last week we took Jordan to Burnside Farms to check out the sunflower fields this year. We took this little field trip last year and everyone, including Jordan, loved it. The fields were a lot different this year, partially because we went to much later in the season. It's only $6 to get in but you can stay all day. You can also spring for the all season pass, which is $10 per person, and you can go back whenever you want all season. The sunflowers are $1.50 per stem. If you are anything like Paris, you take advantage of that and pick the stems that have more than one flower on it! I love that they have a playground, bounce pad and playhouse to entertain the kids and make it more fun for them. We stayed for 2 hours! I of course brought lots of snacks and water so we would last that long. If you want to go, make sure you go soon. There are still a few more weeks left in the season!
