So You Want to Be A Maskcara Beauty Artist | How to Join

I did a post way back last year when I first started with Maskcara on how to Join Maskcara Beauty. I break it down for you and I even give you 5 reasons to join. I have found since then that I wish I had talked more about what being an artist entails and means. So I am doing that today!

Joining Maskcara Beauty is the easy part. You can sign up on the website and decide between one of the two artist kits. I personally got the Pro Kit and looking back, I could have just gotten the Basic kit and grown it to the pro kit. It is almost $200 cheaper and you still get a lot of amazing stuff!

So You Want to Be A Maskcara Beauty Artist | You Don't Feel Qualified

You aren't a makeup artist. You don't usually wear makeup. Or you are like me and you were terrible at makeup before you started using these products. That doesn't mean you are not qualified! You don't have to be a makeup pro to be good at this. You don't have to know about all things makeup to do this. You just have to want to do it. When you want to do it, you will attract people like you who will be interested in the makeup.

The amazing thing is there is a ton of training from both Maskcara Corporate and the team I am on to help you get more comfortable with the business. And the training is continuous. Every week, Corporate hosts an Facebook Live Webinar so that information is given to every artist directly. Most of the time, Cara the founder, is the one doing the webinar.

So You Want to Be A Maskcara Beauty Artist | Time & Money Commitment

Let's talk money first. You do need to purchase an artist kit to become an artist. Once you have made that purchase, you then pay $12 a month to maintain your website. THAT IS IT. You don't pay a ridiculous amount of money per month to stay an artist. You will always get commissions on your sales as long as you are paying that $12 a month for your website. You don't need to make certain sales every month to get that base commission. You can increase your commission every month by hitting ranks and signing up people under you. But no matter what, as long as you are making sales and paying that $12 a month, you will get paid! You don't buy or carry any inventory. All purchases by customers are made through the website and corporate handles shipping. There are no monthly minimums to meet either.

Let's talk about time now. The amount of time you put into this business is all up to you. I honestly put about 4 hours a week of work into this business. I have a lot of other things going on so I don't work this full time. The more time you put into this, the more money you are going to get out of it. But literally anyone can do this. I have talked before about how I have always had some kind of side hustle since I got married. This is honestly the easiest side hustle I have ever done. I do a lot of internet sales to people I have never met and have just found me on social media. And I have made new friends and relationships with people I never would have otherwise.

So You Want to Be A Maskcara Beauty Artist | Making Money

When you first sign up as an artist, you get 20% commission on every sale. You can then bump up to 40% commission on every sale based on your number of sales and your rank. The really nice thing about this is any time you get a customer, they are always your customer. They create an account under you and whenever they place an order, you get a commission. So this is truly passive income. You can always be looking for new clients and to sign up people under you but you will always have those customers to get commissions from.

So You Want to Be A Maskcara Beauty Artist | How Do I Benefit

I don't get anything when you sign up as an artist. Nothing. I don't start getting commission from you until you are making sales, getting your own commission and have made your first rank advancement. This incentives me to help you succeed. So I am not looking to sign up people just to make money off of them. We can all succeed individually but I can eventually benefit from having you sign up under me. The way Maskcara Beauty is set up is to ensure that the artist that do sign up are invested in the business. I am not going to go and sign 100 people up just to get commissions off their kits. I can't. It's not possible. So I am looking for someone who is is interested in this business. Who wants to do it with me and succeed.
