Our Favorite Baby Products at 18 Months | Freshly Picked Diaper Bag & Moccs
I have talked about how I love my Freshly Picked diaper bag but I was also reluctant to buy it originally. I had other diaper bags that I thought were just fine. But when I finally broke down and bought this diaper bag, I knew I wouldn't be going back. I know that sounds exaggerated but it's true. I truly love this diaper bag because it makes my life easier. When other people ask me if it is worth buying, I always say yes. I also suggest joining the Fringe so you can get 20% off.
Jackie didn't wear shoes until she started to walk. She has wide, long feet so finding shoes has always been hard. I just decided that until she could walk, socks would be enough since it was much easier. When she started pulling herself up on to furniture, I started researching shoes. I had heard that moccs were the best shoes for babies learning how to walk because it was good for their arches and sensory. I waited for a sale and bought a few pairs from Freshly Picked. Jackie hated them at first. But after a few days, she got used to them and loves them now. She will go get them out of her shoe basket and bring them to be so I can put them on her. Now that she is getting older, I have bought her the mini soles so that she can eventually graduate to their sneakers.
Our Favorite Baby Products at 18 Months | Big Red Rooster Sound Machine
This has been a life saver. I never used a sound machine for Jackie until she was about a year old. She always had a fan on in her room when we were staying with my parents post surgery. When we moved back home, Jackie wasn't used to how quiet her room was. So we bought this sound machine and it has been amazing. There are 6 different settings so you can find something for every child. It can be battery powered or plugged into a wall. Jackie has actually started pulling it off her shelf and carrying it around because she likes having the sound with her.
Our Favorite Baby Products at 18 Months | Munchkin Click Lock Sippy Cups
Jackie started unscrewing her bottles and cups. She would also take the squishy lid off. This resulted in milk, water or juice everywhere. Jackie would also tip her bottles and cups over and pour the contents out to create a puddle. That got old really fast. So I reached out to my Instagram following and asked them what they suggested. A friend suggested these locking lid cups and they are amazing. The lid clicks into place and I even struggle to get it off some times. The top of the cup can't be pushed down into the cup because of how it is structured. In the last few weeks, Jackie has yet to figure out how to take these cups apart. I consider this a win!
Our Favorite Baby Products at 18 Months | Graco® Baby Extend2Fit 65 Convertible Car Seat
When Jackie grew out of her infant car seat (much earlier than expected), I went on the hunt for a car seat that we could use until she was completely done with car seats and booster seats. I originally bought the Graco 4Ever All-in-1 Convertible Car Seat, which is exactly what we wanted. It was great for about 5 months, until Jackie's legs started getting squished against the back seat. She is still too young and too small to flip the seat around so I needed another solution until that is possible. I had bought the Graco® Baby Extend2Fit 65 Convertible Car Seat to keep at my parent's house for when we are there. We decided to change the car seats so that Jackie was using the one with the foot extension. Ever since we made the switch, Jackie has been much happier. I would strongly suggest this car seat if you have a taller toddler!
Our Favorite Baby Products at 18 Months | Sarah + Abraham Personalized Placemat
Can we talk about how adorable this placemat is? When I first gave it to Jackie, she looked at the little girl and smiled. She knew that it is supposed to be her. I love that it is personalized just for Jackie, all the way down to the eye color. The back of the place mat has her name and the letters of the alphabet for her to practice writing when she gets a little older. You can get a bunch of other adorable, personalized meal items from Sara + Abraham that are perfect for gifts or just to have for your little one!
Our Favorite Baby Products at 18 Months | Camp Castle Play Mat
I have talked about this on my Instagram stories but I wanted to talk about it more here. I will admit that I bought my play mat during a sale for slightly flawed products. There is a mark on the very top of our mat, but you wouldn't know unless you are looking for it. This specific design comes in blue and pink so it works for any kid.
We have the medium play mat and Jackie loves it. Since we have family that lives all over the country, it is really fun to show Jackie where everyone lives. Jackie loves cars so this map with roads all over it has been perfect for her. The material is amazing and doesn't slide on our hardwood floors.
