If you follow me on social media you may already know abou this, but I wanted to do a full introduction here on the blog! Last year, we started a new business called Alder Stone, which is a Franchise Brokerage firm. When I say we, I refer to myself, Paris, Chuck and Dan. You should recognize all of these faces. Paris add Dan have both contributed to the blog before and Chuck has been in a lot of posts in the past.

You all know about McDonald's, Subway, even Domino's. They are all franchises. But did you know there are literally thousands of franchise businesses out there? Pretty much anything you can think of from cleaning business, elder care, online tutoring, gyms, vending machines, to pool cleaning, restaurants, printing, painting, home improvement, and so much more. I could honestly go on and on about all of the options. And these options range in investments too. You don't have to have $100,000 in cash to buy a franchise. Some options require as little as $10,000 and you can get funding or use your 401K or IRA tax free (an explanation for another time!). It doesn't matter if you are in your 20s and want to set yourself up for the future or you are retired and you are looking for something to keep you busy, there is a franchise for everyone.

We have been working in the power industry for decades (between the 4 of us, almost 100 years total). And the sector we work in is dying. We are seeing so many people lose their jobs due to plant closures and failed projects. They are all looking for something they can do to provide for their families without having to rely on a big corporation to do it. As franchise brokers, we can offer them another option.

Most franchisors will have information about their companies online, but it usually only the information they want to disclose. So what does this mean for Breezing Through. I am adding yet another thing to my plate but you all know I like to stay busy! I will be adding another set of content to this blog about small business. I will be covering topics like how to start a business, running a small business, tools we have used and loved, and profiles on successful small business owners. I already have two interviews that will be going live in the next few weeks so get excited for those!

This will not replace any of the other content I have always shared. I want this to be a place where you can get information that helps you in all aspects of your life!
