My Go To Summer Hair
My Go To Summer Hair | Finding Something Fast & Easy
I have thick, coarse hair that doesn't like to hold a curl or a wave and gets crunchy when more than just a little product is in it. Usually in the summer, I kind of let my hair run free because I live in a hot and humid climate so it isnt' worth the battle. But I still want my hair to look good! I have naturally wavy hair, kind of, so I wanted to find something that just accentuted my natural texture. Usually, sea salt hair sprays make my hair crunchy and it looks wet. Clearly this is not ideal. So I when I discovered a few new products that made doing my hair really fast and easy AND I loved the results, I knew I had to share a tutorial with you.

Like I said, this is insanely easy, especially if you have shorter hair. I am going to try it on my friend who has long, straight hair, so I will report back to you on how that goes! Here is what you will need:
I always put the Dry Shampoo in my hair the night before so it can soak into my hair and do it's job. But if you didn't do that, put some of that in your hair first. Follow up with the Dry Volume spray at your roots to give your hair some lift. Now, using the 1" Curling Wand, curl the pieces right next to your face, away from your face. Curl the pieces next to those in the opposite direction, this is key! Now, you want to find the straightes peices of hair you have on the top layer of hair and curl those in alternating directions. You don't need to curl anything but that top layer. Once you have those pieces curled, use your fingers to loosen the curls so they are more like waves. Then use the Beach Wave Spray on all of your hair. Scrunch your hair up in your hand to get the amount of wave you want. Then you are done!
