My Favorite Places to Shop in Buenos Aires

Let's talk about my favorite places to shop in Buenos Aires! This is going to be a mix of both malls and markets I have fallen in love with.

My Favorite Places to Shop in Buenos Aires | Alto Palermo Shopping

First up is the Alto Palermo Mall in Palermo. This is probably my favorite mall to shop in. It's the perfect size, not too huge and overwhelming and I really liked their Christmas decorations. I also love their Prune store here. It's my favorite of any in the city with a great selection of bags and clutches. It's actually where I found really gorgeous leather clutches I bought as gifts as well as both of the bags I have used while in Buenos Aires.

My Favorite Places to Shop in Buenos Aires | Distrito Arcos Premium Outlet

Next up is Distrito Arcos, which is also in Palermo but is an outdoor outlet mall. I really like the selection of stores here and I feel like you do get pretty good discounts while shopping, so they are true outlet stores. I bought a few gifts for family members here, as well as a new dress and shirt.

My Favorite Places to Shop in Buenos Aires | Recoleta Market

Next is the Recoleta Cemetery Market. This market is right outside of the cemetery and it only happens on the weekends. I usually go on Saturdays so I can go to the San Telmo Market on Sundays. While there are a few vendors that have similar things between the two markets, they are different enough that you will find different things at each one, like an adorable sweater that I got for my daughter. I also found some more handmade wood pieces that I got to give as gifts. They're absolutely stunning and are very inexpensive. Overall the quality of everything is fantastic and SO much better of a deal than what you would get them for in the states.

My Favorite Places to Shop in Buenos Aires | San Telmo Market

The last place on the list is the San Telmo Market. This market is really only open on Sundays but they have so many vendors there with a plethora of handmade items. They have leather, maté, crocheted items, wood items and just about anything else you can think of. I got a really cool wood piece for a family member as a gift that fans out into looking like a flower and also comes apart so you can use it for food, art supplies, etc. I really love all of the different and unique things that you can find at this market and the prices are really good as well.

I'm going to miss these markets when we go back home so much!
