My Favorite Hair Products/Tools | Doing My Hair

I used to be that person that washed a blow dried my hair EVERY SINGLE DAY. I would even use a flat iron because my hair is somewhere between wavy and straight (it can't decide most days). Then I discovered dry shampoo and I figured out how to use a curling iron. I had my hair routine figured out. Then I chopped it off before my surgery. Now I have had to figure out how to deal with shorter hair, so I am sharing my favorite hair products/tools with you!

My Favorite Hair Products/Tools | DryBar Baby Buttercup Travel Blow Dryer

Everyone was raving about this hair dryer, both in the travel size and the standard size. I have never actually found a hair dryer that was truly life changing. I have thick, course hair so drying my hair has always been a hassle, not matter what length it is. But I decided to give this one a try, mostly because it was easy to travel with.

I love it! It only has two settings but it gets the job done. And it folds up very compactly so I can pack it in any bag. I wouldn't suggest buying it full price, wait for a sale!

I use this hair dryer to get my roots dry. It works pretty fast and I can move onto the next step.

My Favorite Hair Products/Tools | Multifunction Hair Tool

I found this wonderful thing at Lidl of all places. It was $25 so I thought, why not? I am completely incapable of using a round brush on my hair while I am blow drying it. Which is why this thing turned out to be AMAZING. I currently only use the round brush pieces but I am sure the other pieces work well too.

I can do style my hair without having to use a flat iron to round the bottom of my hair. I am using much less heat and it all comes apart into a nice little bag that is easy to travel with!

My Favorite Hair Products/Tools | Dove Dry Shampoo

I have tried a bunch of different dry shampoos and I thought I had found the best one. You can read all about it here. How I did my hair changed when I cut it before my surgery. I found that I needed a dry shampoo that would give me more volume than the one I was using. I stumbled across this one at Target and I am now hooked! It gives a ton of volume and it also doesn't leave a ton of residue like other dry shampoos.

I use it every night to prolong having to wash my hair. I can usually go 5-7 days between washing my hair and I actually like how it looks when I use this. Using it at night helps it settle into my hair so I don't have to worry about having residue on the top of my head throughout the day.
