Idaho: Lake Cascade

After a long and grueling day of traveling I finally made it from Florida to Idaho! My husband and his younger siblings picked me up and once we got back to the house, we got right back into the car and headed up to Lake Cascade. I had been hearing a lot about this lake from my husband and he was really excited to get up there.The house we stayed in was right on the lake and there was a little dock so we could easily access to the boat. There had been some rain on our way up to the lake, which we think helped keep other people from heading up there too! The lake was practically empty and the water was so smooth you could see the reflection of the sky!My husband and his siblings all wanted to get into the water right away so we got into the boat and they all took turns on the water skis and the tube. I was too tired and worried I might hurt my hip (old lady I know) so I opted to just watch that first day. We did go out on a little kayak after dinner to the other side of the lake. It was a lot further than it looked!We were able to get back in time to see one of the most amazing sunsets I have ever seen! Don't forget to enter the giveaway to win two Julep nail polishes!
