Florida: Conference Booth

The purpose of the trip down to Florida was to set up an exhibition booth for the event we attended. This was the first time my parent's company had ever had an exhibition booth at an event. We had spent a lot of time getting the booth set up perfect and making sure we had everything we needed. I was in charge of making sure everything got down to Florida (packing it all into the luggage) and then making sure it all came together correctly. I had to order a few things online which we picked up once we got down to Florida. This helped us cut costs quite a bit and I think our exhibition booth came together nicely! After the second day of the event, which was full of chasing down potential sponsors for my next event in February, I threw my suitcases back together and hurried to the airport to catch a flight to Idaho to visit my in-laws. It started pouring on my way there and I started to check my flight status. I was flying from Jacksonville to Chicago then Chicago to Boise. My flight to Chicago had already been delayed 2 hours by the time I got to the airport. Once I was through security and got to my gate, I realized I would never make my connecting flight in Chicago. So I called United and told them about the flight delays to see what they could do to rearrange my flights. There wasn't another flight out of Jacksonville that would get me to Boise that night. The women that helped me at United were very kind and quickly made the switch so that I would be on the next flight out of Jacksonville the following morning, at 5 am (GROSS!). I did get to have another night at the conference and we had an amazing dinner with a good friend!I also got some beautiful sunrise pictures the next morning when I was leaving for the airport!Don't forget to enter the giveaway to win two Julep nail polishes!
