Introducing emmypiedesigns + A Giveaway!
Welcome to all of my new readers! I really hope you have had a chance to take a look around, and if you haven't, stay awhile!I would like to introduce you to my Etsy store- emmypie designs.
My husband and I got married only a few weeks before he started law school. Once he started school, I was home alone all day. Working from home and doing school online is great, but I got bored really easily. In September, I went with my family to Illinois for a big family reunion with my grandmother's side of the family. These reunions are so fun and I can't wait to take my husband to the one this year! While I was there, some of my cousins taught me how to make burlap wreaths, flowers and bows.
Once I got home, I went out and bought a bunch of materials and started making more wreaths. I changed the technique a little and now I have my very own way of making burlap wreaths. Even after work picked up and life got super busy, I kept making wreaths and after awhile I started painting burlap and that turned into making pillows! Now I have a store on Etsy called emmypiedesigns, where I sell my wreaths and pillows! I love making seasonal items so around Christmas time I get especially creative. I will be adding lots of new items in the coming months so keep an eye out if you are looking for a great gift for someone!
