How To Shop Jane.com | How They Work

I have been shopping Jane.com since 2012. I love their website and I was so excited when they released their app. I have seen a lot of people who are confused about how Jane's website works and the best way to shop it. So I decided that I would do this post, in the hopes that it would be useful to someone! You can read about other places I like to shop online, here.

Jane.com is a daily deal site that has items for 72 hours at up to 80% off. The items are provided by 3rd party vendors. As a daily deal site, so the items are not available all of the time. Once the deal is over, it is gone. The vendor may choose to re-list the item, but that is not guaranteed. Jane.com is just the platform for these items to be sold. Most of the time, the items are from boutiques or larger stores that may have ordered too many of an item or were unable to sell that item on their site at full price. Some vendors sell certain items exclusively on Jane.com.

You can find women's clothes, men's clothes, shoes, jewelry & accessories, beauty & wellness, maternity, baby, kids, home, and pet items on Jane.com.

How To Shop Jane.com | Vendors

There are so many vendors that sell on Jane, it can be hard to keep track of sizing and which vendors are your favorites. In the last 5 years, I have found that some vendors are better than others. I know that their sizing is reliable and if I order an item from them, it will actually be what I ordered. These are my favorite vendors to order from:

3brunettes

A Dip of Darling

Fancy Frills Boutique

Coco & Main

Eloges

Rubyclaire Boutique

Obsessions Boutique

White Plum

Sweet Water Decor

Funky Monkey Fashion Accessories

Tickled Teal

Cents of Style

Caralase

How To Shop Jane.com | Ordering

This is probably the most important part of shopping at Jane. When you are placing  your order, BE SURE TO READ THE DESCRIPTION. There are a lot of vendors that talk about the sizing of the item in the description. You want to make sure that you are ordering the correct size, based on their sizing. The sizing for every vendor is different so you don't want to assume that your "usual" size is going to work.

How To Shop Jane.com | Shipping

This is something you really need to watch out for when you are ordering from Jane. Most of the time, items will not ship for at least a week. Sometimes they ship sooner, but very rarely. When you are looking at an item, be sure to click the Read More link. This will show you all of the shipping details for that specific item. That way you will know when your item will ship and when you can expect to receive it. Life is all about expectations right?

How To Shop Jane.com | Sneak Peeks

Sneak peeks are available at 2 pm MST every day. You can view the items that will be available the next day, but not how much they will cost & the vendor but not the price or what options will be available. I really like this feature because I can favorite the items I am interested in and I will easily be able to find them in my favorites tab when I am ready to shop.

How To Shop Jane.com | Return Policy

Jane offers a great return policy, unlike most daily deal sites. If you contact the vendor within 14 days, you should be able to get a refund for the item. If you have trouble getting in touch with the vendor, you can always reach out to Jane's customer service and they will help you! You can read more about their policy on getting a refund here.

There is a list of non-returnable items. Be sure to check that list before you try to return an item.

Hopefully someone has found this post helpful! Let me know if you have any questions!
