There are so many subscription boxes out there now, for pretty much anything you can think of. But one of the most popular kinds of subscription boxes are styling/clothes boxes. And I have tried a few of them. Usually you work with a stylist that picks out clothes for you and sends them to you to try. Which is great in concept but I personally haven't had the best experience with these. I think it is hard for a stylist to know about your style from a formatted online quiz. So you often end up getting items you would never wear.
Usually these boxes cost a monthly fee and you have to buy any of the items in order to wear them. Which means, that you often end up with only one item, if that, that works in your wardrobe. Well, what about those services that allow you to rent clothes for a period of time? Usually those are pricey and can be restrictive. So what if there was something different?

Enter Haverdash, which is a completely different kind of subscription box. for $59 a month, you get an unlimited number of boxes with 3 items per box. You get to wear those items as long as you want, and then you send the 3 items back in the provided envelope with a prepaid label on it to get 3 new items. You don't have to worry about dry cleaning and you can even notify Haverdash that you are returning your items so they can start prepping your next box to ship.
Let's talk about the clothes. One of the things I love the most about Haverdash is that you get to pick the clothes. You can browse their website or app and add clothes to your closet. Keeping more items in your closet allows for your boxes to ship faster since you have more items for the team to pick from. You can even prioritize which items come to you first.

With Haverdash, you basically have access to another closet for $59 a month, without having to buy a bunch of new pieces. You do have the option of buying pieces that you love but you don't have to. So if you have some holes in your closet or you don't have the space to add a bunch of new items to your closet, this is an easy and inexpensive way to do it.
As I have mentioned before, one of the biggest things that sets Haverdash apart is that you get to pick the clothes you get. And they are every day wear. So you are getting nice clothes from good brands but they aren't designer brands. If you are anything like me, that is the perfect fit for you.

I was excited when Haverdash reached out to me about working together. I loved the idea of an affordable subscription box where you get to pick the items that come to you. I have been able to try some pieces that I probably wouldn't have tried before. I love that I can wear the pieces and decide if they are something I want to add to my closet permanently or if they were just fun for a few days. It's also been really nice for styling outfits for the blog!
One of the things I was worried about when I started using Haverdash was the number of options to pick from. I was able to add more than 10 items to my closet in my first pass through the site, so that wasn't a problem. I have also noticed that new items are added to the site weekly, so there are always lots to pick from.
