Family Holiday PJs | Buying Family Holiday PJs

Last year I did a post on Where To Buy Matching Family Christmas PJs, so I am not going to walk you through where to buy pjs this year. You can read that post for places to shop and this post will be about how to decide what kinds of pjs to buy! Every family is different and every person in each family likes a different style of pjs. We like very different kinds of pjs in our house so I wanted to walk you through why we like what we like and were you can get them!

Family Holiday PJs | Where We Get Ours

We loved our matching pjs and like I said, we could wear them outside of Holiday window. Just like last year, we got our pjs at Hanna Andersson. I decided to do something a little different then the normal classic prints that I usually like and went with the penguin print instead. Jackie LOVES animals so when I saw this one, I knew it would be a hit. She loved pointing at the penguins on our pjs and talking about the penguins. I love that Hanna Andersson has lots of different prints and they cover all of the winter holidays. The best part is that there are styles for the entire family, including your dog!

Family Holiday PJs | Nightgowns

I personally like to sleep in nightgowns. I have talked about this before but for some reason if my feet or legs get too hot at night, I either can't sleep or I actually wake up. So I have found that nightgowns are the best thing for me. Cute nightgowns that match the rest of your family around the holidays can be hard to find. I looked in a bunch of places and I didn't really find that many, which was a bummer. But the ones I did find, I linked below and at the bottom of the post.

I love the nightgowns from Hanna Andersson because they are cozy and soft. They also button about 1/3 down the front, which is nice for nursing moms. I do have a few of these that I have collected over the years and I have loved sleeping in them when it gets colder outside!

Family Holiday PJs | PJ Pants That Aren't Fitted

Why are most of the pj pants that are with matching family pjs are incredibly fitted? Lots of people aren't comfortable with this, including The Husband. So this year when I saw that Hanna Andersson had regular pj pants that would be a much more relaxed fit, I grabbed those for him. There are some places that carry these kinds of pjs pants regularly, namely Old Navy. But I have been seeing these kinds of pants more this year so I think you are going to be able to find them a lot easier than in the past! Family Holiday PJs | Toddler Sets

Even though Jackie is only 2.5 years old, she typically wears a 5T in toddlers or XS in girls. Which means she can't fit into most of the zip up, footed pjs (which makes me kind of sad). I do like that there are lots of options for toddler sets out there, you can find them at pretty much every store that sells matching pjs.
