Eating at Melt in Leesburg, VA

I woke up this morning feeling terrible...so we will see how the blog posting goes for the rest of the week!Last week we went to Melt in Leesburg, VA for lunch. Apparently this place is ranked #7 for burger places in the country on Trip Advisor. I was excited because they had a gluten free burger bun! Melt doesn't have any waiters or clean up crew and there isn't any tipping so it's like going to Wendy's or McDonalds experience wise. The menu is a giant black board on that wall and was pretty overwhelming. After spending about 10 minutes each trying to figure out what we were going to order, we went to the counter and placed our orders. They don't have fountain drinks either so everything comes out of the cooler next to three register. Once we ordered we found 3 tables to push together so all six of us to eat together. Our food came and we then understood the hype. The burgers were HUGE! Paris and I had decided ahead of time to share ours so we were glad we did. Most of us got the bacon cheeseburger but Dan got the Jalapeano burger. He says it was delicious! The fries were amazing as well, very crispy. If you know me well, you know I love a good chocolate shake. I ordered one to go and I am so glad I did! It was a dark chocolate shake and it was incredible!I would definitely drop by if you live within an hours drive (you can also come see me then too!) or go by if you are in town visiting!
