Charleston, SC: Beach House on Kiawah Island

There were 14 of us that went to Charleston for Thanksgiving. We decided that we wanted to find a house on the beach that would accommodate all of us comfortably. Finding a house that big wasn't easy. Since we were looking for Thanksgiving week, most of the bigger houses were already taken. I spent a lot of time on a lot of websites but I found that Beach Walker Rentals had the best options in the nicest areas. We eventually found the perfect house that worked for us and had the right number of bedrooms! Paris and I left for the house really early in the morning before anyone else was ready to go. We wanted to get the house ready before the group got there. It was a great opportunity to get pictures of the house before everyone came in. These pictures don't do the house justice but it gives you some idea!Charleston, SC: Beach House on Kiawah Island | Breezing ThroughCharleston, SC: Beach House on Kiawah Island | Breezing Through Charleston, SC: Beach House on Kiawah Island | Breezing Through Charleston, SC: Beach House on Kiawah Island | Breezing ThroughCharleston, SC: Beach House on Kiawah Island | Breezing Through

One of my favorite things in the house was the stairs. A giant spiral staircase that went all the way to the third floor. They did made the house really loud though!

There were 4 bedrooms & 3 bathrooms on the first floor as well as a laundry room. Two rooms had a queen size bed and the other two rooms each had 2 twin sized bed. The sitting room had glass doors that led out to the pool and hot tub.

The second floor had a master suite, a half bath and the kitchen. There was also a second laundry room on this floor. This kitchen was truly amazing! With 14 people, including 3 kids, the kitchen had enough space for all of us to eat and not be on top of each other. The porch had a large table and a spiral staircase down to the pool.

The third floor had a second master suite with a sitting room and half bath. This master suite was incredible! The shower was the size of some hotel rooms I have been in! The third floor boasted a beautiful view of the ocean and the pool below.

The guest house had a separate entrance from the rest of the house. It had a sitting room, kitchen, laundry room, bathroom, bedroom and loft.
