We all have those last minutes gifts that come up. We need to run something to a friend or neighbor or someone from church. I actually needed something to deliver to a few people that was easy to duplicate and I had on hand. Which is where I came up with this idea.

This isn't a novel idea (get it?). Many people use gratitude journals and they have become more popular in the last year or so. My mom has used them for years. I recently started writing down 5 things I am grateful for each day. I try to keep them simple and specific. I use a regular journal to do this in every day. Nothing fancy, just something I picked up at HomeGoods. I actually have a stash of notebooks that I have picked up over the years that have just been sitting on our bookshelf, unused.

If you have a stash of journals like I do, this is going to be an easy gift for you on the go. Grab one of those journals and wrap it up nice. Describe how to use the journal as a gratitude journal and you are good to go! If you want to add something extra, pick up a pair of slipper socks from Target, all of which are under $10. If you don't have a stash of notebooks, you can grab a few when you are at Target. They have a great selection and are fairly inexpensive. I have rounded up some of the best slipper socks and journals for you to pick from. You can order them online and have them ready to be picked up at your local Target so you just have to run in and pick them up!
